Calculation:

The house advantage (HA) is set at 1% for calculation convenience

Example:

If customer has a valid wager of $2000, the house advantage is 1% of $2000. So, $20 would be the HA.

If the customer is a VIP17 level, the formula would be HA1% * 50% = $20 * 50% = $10 would be calculated for the rebate.

How do we calculate valid wager amounts?

In order to calculate the value towards the rebate, customers are required to bet. To understand what amount is considered for the upgrade we need to consider the following information:

Absolute value: It is a number's distance from zero on the number line, regardless of direction. It’s always non-negative. For example:

• |5| = 5

• |-5| = 5

First we need to determine over what number will we apply the House Advantage on, the formula depends on a few factors:

Payout: Depends on if the bet won or lost.

• Bet Won: Payout = Bet amount + win amount

• Bet Lost: Payout = 0

Valid Wager: Uses absolute value.

• Valid Wager = | payout - bet amount |

This means the House Advantage of 1%, is applied to the last absolute value.

Examples:

1. Single bet: Risk $110 to win $100

• If the bet wins Payout: $110 + $100 = $210 Valid Wager : | 210 - 110 | = $100 HA: 1% of $100 =$1 If the customer is a VIP17 level, the formula would be HA1% * 50% = $1 * 50% = $0.5 would be calculated for the rebate.

• If the bet loses Payout: 0 Valid Wager: | 0 - 110 | = | -110 | = 110 HA: 1% of $110 =$1.1 If the customer is a VIP17 level, the formula would be HA1% * 50% = $1.1 * 50% = $0.55 would be calculated for the rebate.
